My Technique for Time Stretching Maschine Samples. Is there a better way?

I, like many people, are not happy with the lack of time stretch in Maschine. What I have just started doing is to truncate the sample loop in Maschine, get the BPM by hitting "slice" button and then export the wave loop out and into an audio channel in Reason 6 where I can speed up or slow down the sample, transpose, and then import back into Maschine. Is there a easier way that some of you have found?
