What made you guys start making the type of music that you make today? & do you think you would be more or less succesful making a different type of music

I fell in love with Dubstep the first time i heard it in a live show, which inspired me to learn and do that same style.

I'm pretty sure i could be making easier types of music and have more success, but i wouldn't feel self accomplishment.
