mpc studio experts???

How do i set my drum pattern to run smoothly? Every time it starts at the beginning of the first bar its off beat.
 
Start at 11:00....
Make sure you are on beat...
I believe quantizing may help too



Start at 7:55


Look at how your loop is set up... and timing corrections
 
I cant watch the videos. U got youtube links? Quantizing and timingcorrections, i have no clue what u talkin bout, sir. Haha
 
Yoo thats exactly what i was lookin for!! So its called quantizing. I have to download these vids first, my phone internet is slower than slow. Have to figure out how to quantize on the mpc software
 
i believe its near the mid lower corner of the daw...
- i dnt own the software but from the vids i think thats where it asks u to do it from
it should ask things like ...1/16.. 1/32 so on so forth...

I would experiment with it all of them... set ur tempo and then quantize n see where it places the notes....
I dnt use quantizing... i like to sequence by hand to give it a lil more swing... but my timing isnt perfect so...
Alot of trial in error while im doing my drum patterns...
 
Ill do that. Have to go tho...this girl just dropped by. Let me quantize her pussy right quick n ill get back to drum patterns
