MPC Question about Instrument samples

can you make your own instrument out of 1 sample? like virtal beat thang? import (a sample and let it go up the octives with a gate ???
and play with the ASDR and shit?

yes you can...you can shorten samples and loop t hem to turn your mpc into sort of a sampler synth. + effects theres a couple including flanger chorus reverb eq etc. adsr = possible but not quite the same as on a synth.... they are hell of a lotta fun man !

idk about going up octaves with a gate..but i know you can program it yourself if you wana take the time to do it.
