Mpc 4000 help

The other day I deleted a bunch of files off my MPC 4000,,
so today I tried to load some drums samples. And its not reading any of my disk. What did I do wrong? Did I delete anything that I shouldnt have deleted?please help
 
Yep.

You probably deleted the samples that were attached to those programs. Hopefully you have those samples saved in other location on your hd or elsewhere. You can rebuild your kits.

I not too sure how your file management is but when I make a beat on the 4000 I create a folder to save the multi, seq, programs and samples of it in so everything is in one spot. So in the future if you delete the samples to a program you will have them backed up somewhere.

first we have to stay organize with our sounds. know what sounds ur us. cause u usely have goto sound and know what ur deleting and always, always back up what u delete
 
Every beat create a new folder and save entire memory to it so everything that one beat needs is in there for u
