Mpc 2000xl help!!!

Ok I jus got a mpc 2000xl. It has what looks like a floppy drive installed and I have an external zip drive too. I have plenty of sounds samples n snippets on my computer. Most of them are WAv or mp3 files. Will the mpc read these files? If not how and what format do i have convert them to in order to use them on my mpc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead

Do you have the manual? Read it. If you don't google it and read it.

Your files have to be wav 16bit 44100hz

why not just sample the sounds right into the mp and then just save the sounds onto ur zips/floppies from there...

Co sign just sample into the mpc drum by drum as u use them will save much space

If you transfer them on a disk, here's a program for building mpc programs on computer, so you don't need to load samples one by one.

You can always delete the sample folder and save them as .snd files afterwards.
