Motu Audio Express Vs. Focusrite Saffire Pro 24

Hey guys
I'm running into those issues with the audio kontrol 1 and logic pro/snow leopard, and whilst im sure a fix or a driver update of some sort will be released, i dont have the time to wait until they figure it out.
So i've narrowed it down to these two
i'm basically asking about quality reliability and suitability, since im kind of a tech retard.

please keep in mind i dont need to do any recording right now, and may upgrade if necessary when i do, but i use a microkorg XL and may add synths sooner rather than later to the setup, so ins are a necessity.


any experience with these two? or even just reading about them, does the extra money for the motu seem justified to you techheads?

oh and P.S. portability is a preference as ill be taking the macbook and external hdd to other studios etc
