motif xs rack or motif xs8??

i was thinking about getting the motif xs8 but all i want from it is the sounds i was wondering am i better off with buying the rack instead, does it sound the same???? would appreciate advice

Well if all you want is the sounds then this is an easy question. Just get the rack, and an 88Key hammer action controller. And there ya go

when you want to get into editing the board will be easier to use than the rack or so I hear about the motif series. Ive never owned a motif but I know the sounds are the same. If you already have a controller or a keyboard workstation Id say get the rack
