Mixtape hosting/mixing

What's good FP? I've been using Virtual DJ for my mixing and scratching and what not. I'm trying to get an idea of what other mixtape DJs use to record and sequence mixtapes (adding sound effects, drops, etc.)
 
Serato just released "The Bridge" which links it up with Ableton. One of the features of that is being able to export a mix you record as an Ableton Live Set with the songs labelled and everything. Then you could do drops and whatnot in Ableton after you've mixed everything. Of course, you'd need some 1200's, a Rane TTM, Serato and Ableton 8.2 to get that running.

I use Pro Tools, Numark v7s, and Akai mk mini and NI Battery for FX and drops and DXM Pro mixer

Without hardware I use Sony Acid Pro 7
