Had some questions about types of mixers. If SL1200's are the stantdard TT's, then what would be a comporable mixer?

I have a mixer (numark 1001 ex) already, but, I feel limited by it and was wondering what a high-end (no budget) mixer would be, and who by?

Please feel free to list multiple.....

Well, unlike cdplayers (Denon, Pioneer and recently Tascam) and turntables (Technics/Vestax) there isn't really such thing like a standard mixer.

But it's always the same brand names that return...

Pioneer DJM300/500/600
Roland DJ1000/2000
Ecler Mac series
Soundcraft DMix1000
Vestax and Rane for scratching

Basically, the higher priced mixers, you get what you pay for.

And most of the time each country has it's "own standard" mixer for the clubs...
Belgium : Rodec Mx180
France : Freevox Dj Club
Netherlands : Datec
...
