I'm looking to get a mic, mainly for recording vocals. My price range is $175-200, I'm just not trying to drop like 600-1200 for a mic right now. Any opinions?
In addition to that, I'm planning on getting an external soundcard to go with the mic. I realize I could just get a USB mic, but I've wanted to get a soundcard for a while for monitoring purposes. There's such a huge range of external soundcard prices that I don't really know where to start.
Anyone have any experience and advice on both of these? Thanks in advance
