MF Doom is wack

im no stranger to the back-packers, the under grounders, or the lost tapes of america, but lets be honest MF Doom is straight garbage. his production sucks, and he cant rhyme for nothing, how can ya'll put up with that?

just because he's underground doesn't make him great

i tried listening to him on a few occasions, his flow is awful
 
MF Doom is the underground equivalent of Gucci Mane.lol
 
i dont think hes wack i agree yes he is different and his flow and beats are on the raw but my arguement is that if all hiphop sounds the same and everyone spits the same it losses its variety and like a great man once said vareiety is the spice of life his kind of rap reflects on the raw street mentality as in like old dirty bastard or busta rhymes or necro all try to capture in there music so no i dont feel he it wack he spent time writing his raps out of the norm and yes it is hard to grasp at 1st but isnt most of big L's music ...holla back at me if think im incorrect...

damn you people!! i like MF doom!! but don't get it twisted, i'm not a anti-mainstream against the grain backpacker. kanye likes him if it's any consolation....
 
I've never understood the hype around him myself but 2 each is own. Dude has alot of die hard fans so who am i 2 judge him.
 
I like a few of his songs. Overall though I never did see the hype around him either. I always thought I was the weird one because how the backpacks were jockin him. Then I would listen to his c.d. again and realise that it was him that was the weird one...
 
special herbs is dope, i like his flow and his rhymescheme on point... a bit of an acquired taste to be honest. but yeah i dont see why a thread like this has to come up, mfdoom does his thing , do you. if you dont like him its all good, but thats your personal preference
