Memory Card Problems MPC 1000

Hi, Im pretty new to my mpc and have been only using the memory card loaded with sample that came with it (Bought it used). I have my own 2GB sandisk card that i would like to load my own sample onto. However, Every time i put it into my mpc the samples dont show up. They are all .wav files.
 
Im not sure, but i tried copying all the files from the working card into my 2GB card and were again unreadable

it works now i just went to utilities in the mpc to reset the card and format it
