it is a really nice little proggy if you are looking to get a 12-bit like sound out of samples (i havent had too good of luck with drums, but things with higher harmonics tend to degrade really nicely)
I used to always recomend Ephonic Lo-fi for dirt, but it seems best for extreme lo fi use,and not as easy to dial in a more subtle vintage sampler sound.
Lately I have been mostly using Acquit fx2100 for drums wich is a nice filter emulation of the sp1200.
But I finaly downloaded Mda Degrade, and I am really impressed with how it effects drums.Tobybear Decimator is a similar effect worth a dl too.To me Mda Degrade has a lil' edge over the Tobybear vst with a couple extra features.
Another lo-fi tool I recomend is an audio editor called Soliton 2.It has nice filters, and samplerate reduction.
