So, FINALLY it works. But one thing I'm having a problem with is that one of the pages on the maschine is called "Free CC Assigns" with empty midi controls from CC20 - CC27. I'm trying to use these free midi controls, but Ableton won't let me assign, for example, CC 20 to control a filter freq. When I click on MIDI Mapping and click on the Filter freq and then move the knob, nothing. Any help would be great!
Im also now trying to figure out how I can control the clips being played with one template and use the pads as midi notes for another preset. I only have one template (The PRO template) with only one octave that I can use the pads for notes. Any help with that?
I figured out that I can plug my keyboard into the back of my Maschine to use as a midi keyboard, but I still am wondering how I can add midi controls in ableton to the free midi slots in the Maschine-Ableton template.
