MacBook Pro running Reason using Airplay Speakers

I plugged my Yamaha HS 50m's into my Apple Airport Express and was able to successfully monitor sound from Reason via the Airplay function.1. Is anyone else doing this?2. How can I reduce latency? (playback is 2-3 bars behind the marker and MIDI is very latent)

I've done this, but strictly for playback. There is no way to reduce latency to "recording standards". It's merely a playback feature. Its signal is looping through the network card, so you can't expect zero latency.
