This is pretty good musically (as in chord progression/idea-wise), BUT
Those drums/ hi hats seem tacked on. Focus on finding drums that mix with the texture of your synths better...
Perhaps EQ more, add reverb, or look for a drum loop to sample/chop up.

Also keep that chick's voice, it's awesome.

I agree with you on the eq, I was in a lil of a rush on this project, I wasn't too content with the hi hat and rim knock eq. And I guess thats what I get for applying reverb in the morning not trying to disturb my neighbors. >.< lol

What exactly do you mean by soundscape? Like more reverb for a lil more atmosphere?

I wasnt really feeling the sound of the snare or hi hats. But the overall melody had a nice bounce to it

I agree with others with that this needs more depth in sound, but overall I like the chord progression, the chill laid-back feel and all that. Does sound like a Lupe Fiasco beat.. Great work
