A long time back I went 6 pm overnight to 6 am. We got a good deal for the off-hours.

one time it took about 9 hours to get a song recorded and a rough mix together back in 2006

In a home studio, 48 hours nonstop.
Professional, 8 hours. Same booth Alicia Keys sung in :]

I've worked for weeks 12 hours on, 12 hours off every day with another guy. then spending an hour or two together every swap to update project info. Tight deadline. Did a 22 episode TV series, compose, record, produce and sync to picture the whole thing in less than a month!
Hell of a lot of drugs... took awhile to recover from that! :alcoholic:

Does it really help if ure in the studio for such a long time? It seems like it just wears you off and make you think ''LET ME GET THIS DONE'' then you just do whatever to get it done
