Live's secret option: Show Device Slots.

The tutorial only lists instructions for Mac. This can be done on PC as well (in Live 8 & 9) by creating a simple txt file named "Options.txt" within your Ableton preferences folder:

C:\Users\(User Name)\Appdata\Roaming\Ableton\(version of Live)\Preferences\

Oh this is cool. Is there a comprehensive list of all the options.txt...um, options somewhere? Might be a good idea to make one if there isn't...
 
Hi Krushing, I think there is somewhere yes, but not sure where, and I don't think this one is on the list anyway. The other one I have is Map To Siblings which I'll do as a future TOTM sometime. I don't really use it personally because I don't use drum racks much so I need to test it out. The list I'm thinking of is an official one. By the way some people claim they must be buggy and that's why they aren't implemented in Live. Something to watch out for.

Yeah, I know about the official one but it doesn't seem to list nearly all the stuff that's apparently possible. Like this one :)
