thats like a couple of thousands songs man!!! just buy anything from arika bambatta, heavy d, nwa, public enemy, de la soul, kool herc, eric b and rakim, then you should have a nice collection and then just keep your eyes open for other pioneers of hip hop and get stuff from them
Well, what I am looking for really are the songs that have "famous" 60/70's background music but also newer music, how about I start a list here of all that I have so far so you all can see what I am talking about and then maybe just add anything you think may fit?

] We trying to stay alive-Wyclef Jean [From Bee Gees's Staying Alive].
] A message for your mind-Rappin 4-Tay [ From Jackson 5's I want you back].
]Mr.Lonely-Akon [From Bobby Vinton's Mr.Lonely].
] Changes-Tupac [From Bruce Hornsby's That's just the way it is].
] I'll be around-Rappin 4-Tay [From Spinner's I'll be around].
] I'll be missing you-Puff Daddy [From The Police's Every breath you take].
] Kung Fu Fighting-Bus stop [From Carl Douglas's Kung Fu fighting].
] Mo money mo problems-Notorious B.I.G [From Diana Ross's I'm coming out].
