“Last week I was stumbling through my garage, searching through old storage bins, when I came across some old beat CDs from my days as a signed Interscope rapper. I was shocked to find that two of them, both given to me in ‘01, had the name Kanye West on them. These two CDs, which I believe are the oldest Kanye beats ever released, now celebrate their 10 year anniversary.
I think this collection of early Kanye beats shows you where he came from, even if it doesn’t necessarily sound like ‘Kanye’ now. He kept at it and became the incredible producer he is today. I remember he even had to leave the studio sessions early, so he could make the last train back to his mom’s house. He’s come a long way, and I’m proud to have been around, even if for just a second at the start.”

there's some released joints in there, beat 10 is an early version of "get lifted".

Even back then he had that fire... Not saying they are the greatest but the potential is there.. Always nice to go back and hear what the greats did before they received that status..

lol did ya'll hear the "snare" on Beat 3? Man I hope this is legit and not some rando just trying to get his beats heard lol...

Whats wrong with the snare on #3? Fits the beat perfect imo.

jensen is pretty verified. he used to be signed to interscope back in the day under the name Hot Karl (yeah i know horrible name).
he did a few songs with just blaze for whatever nba game was out at the time.
he has mentioned releasing these tapes for a minute on his hypeman podcast.

If this is actually his beat CD then im not suprized at these early works of his. Gritty..deep, raw enough for any artist to rip. thats kanye.

and hypothetically speaking what if it wasn't?
would it be "alright" "wack" "still dope" what would be the verdict if this was just some joe schmoe's mixtape from the early 2000 era?
(skull this isn't just directed at you alone btw, im asking everyone).

either way i love bass on the 1st couple of tracks...gritty bass just pulls me in to tracks.

Wonder how long it takes Kanyes to cry bout this on twitter.

gonna listen now. hot Karl ah man lol dose anyone know what a hot karl is? if you dont aw man lol nasty shit lol

yeah appearantly he got the name from ice t who said the guy use to shit on his opponents (figuratively speaking of course) in cipher battles.

it would be WACK based on the fact that it's an ATTENTION-WHORING PUBLICITY STUNT.

You can hear the the potential....definitley has alot of soul

I don't know if you know.

But anything on the net can be recorded?

Why not just make it downloadable. I have a gigabyte motherboard and the stereo mix option can allow cooledit to record anything being streamed or played. LOL!

lol...you never heard that joint tho? he kinda killed it

then they changed the snare
