Kanye Says he took the drums From Dres Xxxplosive??

But i listened to xxxplosive 3 times, and there is no break or part of the song where the drums are open??

There is music over the drums..

Can someone please explain this to me thanks
 
there is i believe...maybe not the full loop but u could chop out a kick & a snare



i think he meant more so the pattern than the sounds tho
who knows
 
I'm pretty sure he didn't sample the song, he imitated the pattern/groove.

I could be wrong though.

Yeah i think he was talkin bout the pattern. He said he "bit" the drums off Xxxplosive he didn't say he sampled them.
 
True, he never sampled them. But you could sample a drum and remove certain frequencies from the sound to attempt to get the drum by itself. That photoshop beatmaking thing would come in handy for something like that. You would have to have the drum with an instrument that didn't effect the drum itself though. A difficult task but very possible.
 
He sampled it...becuause I sampled it. Eq and filter. They knock too.
 
Yea I thought he actually sampled them I tried to myself lol
