What up FP. So I've been rockin my Yamaha HS50's for a lil over a year and although they have been doin me justice and have a relatively flat response, I just feel like they're not exactly what I had hoped for when I purchased them. I like Yamaha, so I checked out their professional line of reference monitors, the MSP series. They seemed to be exactly what I was goin for, so I ordered the MSP7's after reading some reviews and getting some opinions on them. They came via FedEx today and damn I am just blown away, these are the most beautiful sounding reference monitors I have ever owned. Every little detail is very vivid, and they seem to have an exceptionally flat response, as well as plenty of oomph in the low end. The difference between the HS & the MSP series is phenomenal, I would recommend these to any producer and/or engineer.
