honestly doe, he sounds like he has to say that.
They wanted Dilla on The Black Album but he was too busy working on another project lol. Shame really, that would've been crazy.

Thanx for this post. I've never head Jay speak on Dilla. Seems like they woulda recorded AT LEAST ONE song together. Jigga needs to go through some of those unused Dilla beats and record to one. I know there has to be ONE he finds more than "usable". Even if it's just to say I have a song on a Dilla track. Though I can't argue with him saying "it wouldn't be the same (now)".
