Jay Prod - Remember the Rain beat. Need feedback

This was the first time I lit one up and made a beat. Tell me how I did, thanks! :cool:
 
My favorite part about this beat are the strings they really brings out the chillness of the beat but also gives it an eccentric vibe to it. This is cool keep it up. Check my song when you get a chance I'm on the verses and the hook
 
Definitely a very simple and soulful instrumental! I dig the cut on the sample. The drums are decent. Good breakdowns... Think you can separate the mix a lil better and give the individual instruments more space to breath. Overall good quality though! I dig it brother.
 
I like this sample A LOTTTTTTTTTT dude. soulful beats are beautifully amazing. I was definitely hoping for a harder drop though. But the way it is already is very good too. Is it just me or is there some sort of swing/off-beat feel to it also? Im not sure if it is accidental or intentional lol. Overall 8/10.
 
Yo JayProd , Remember the rain track has nice vocal samples in it .
I think that it would be much more dope repeating the vocal part which is at the begining of the track , a bit more inside the instrumental !
Nice track / vocal sampling though !
 
nice sampling,, only thing is would say is to try separate your bass line from the sample strings and clean the bass line so that it doesn't rumble too much, and play with the high hats quantization
