ok, i usually dont ask for stuff like this. but i got a hot ass beat ready for a remix of this and i need this acapella. i plan on releasing a remix mixtape

does anyone have it, i would really appreciate it :)

It doesn't exist bro. Only to professional remix DJs. There's an instrumental out there already, so someone just has to make a DIY.

google "promo cd" durr. jk don't steal. but too bad that song is old and played out now. i used to bump that in May.

Because radio stations play it every 5 seconds now. Songs don't get played out for me though. I can still listen to Chris Brown's "Forever" like 100 times in a row. Just don't listen to the radio and it won't be played out.

And also, the only promo CD that exists is just a CD with the original song and some remixes.

And muscldancr, go ahead and post it cuz!

yeah ur right, and i used to just put it on repeat lol.. try buggin him on twitter for it

haha... I was trying to look for this earlier this morning. If anyone comes across it - post it up! If I were you though I'd leave the chorus alone and re-sample the original from Hide & Seek!

Songs been out since June and they just started crushing it on NY radio recently. But it esepcially blew the f*** up this week cuz it was on the latest episode Gossip Girl... the day after that show it was the most searched-for song according to google.

Michael: I asked him if it'll be released (studio acapella) a while back and he said probably not. Artists don't own anything apparently. I can't bug him to give me something because he won't have it.

And yeah, I was listening to iheartradio (KIIS FM from LA) and heard thus playing and instantly looked up lyrics. This was like 2 months ago. I played it at the club a week later but no one knew what it was. Now it the most requested song at the club lol. He blew up QUICK.

ok... here u guys go.. exclusive ****!!!!!

its missing the chorus part, but u can just take that from the beginning of the original....... cuz the only "instrumental" out has the chorus in it too..... if someone finds a real instrumental send it to me and i can redo the pella

i'm pretty sure he could easily book on it if he goes to jr's studio. cause i think that's all that he works with at the moment. and i think a lot of politics are involved when pushing singles like that. it's pretty awesome. and what software can separate vocals like that? dj program or something like that yes? weird..

I had to put the sample together when I remade the song, but I just moved to a new place and my computer isn't set up yet (posting from my laptop), but when it's set up I'll put the sample on that acapella.

****!

I just learned so much more about the song from this acapella:

1. He uses a lot more Auto-Tune than I thought
2. Backing harmonies in the hook that can't really be heard in the song

And ahhh!!! I really wish you would've done it with the version in which he has his final ad-libs: "Well of course I did baby! Ooh-whoa! Of course it is! WhaaaAAaaaaAtchu sayyyyy! and Wha-ah-ahhhh!!!"

Is there a way you can do one using this version?

And btw, I think the instrumental includes the sample either way, because listening to the intro without it (from my remake) sounds REALLY weird.

Whenever I get my computer fired up again I can send you my remake instrumental, which is 99% accurate except I didn't use the same strings/synths as J.R., and the synth saw in the hook is completely different, but I like the way I did it better.

And also, I'll send you the ACOUSTIC version instrumental (from a remake) and see if you can do the acoustic version too. I really like his ad-libs over the hook in the acoustic version, and it's the only thing missing from the original version.

****ing database error tricked me into thinking I didn't post, but I did. This was originally a double post!

Uh...but yeah. This song just got renewed in my mind. When I do covers of songs, it helps to have the acapella to study exactly how the sh1t was put together. Now I have the final pieces of the puzzle!

Thanks player!.. Auto-Tune's retune speed must be at 0! But the harmonies are on point tho. Word. Well off to bed I go.
