i think he is a real good artist however needs to stop making his own beats. "Lights Please" was one of the better beats he did imo

Like Desmond*A* said, i highly doubt we'll see a release from him in the near future
 
I think J cole is seriously sole focus right now, he hit it big last year and kept on moving, I Think his a good artist with a clever style, plus his delivery is pure skill, thumbs up for J.
 
if he leaves roc nation like i hope and expect him to... i think him, krit, nipsey (if he can get a big enough fan base), and cyhi will change this rap shit.... i pray this happens
 
He's good but he's no better then anyone else who makes that same type of music.

Please please please.. Can you tell me which other artist make the same type of music better yet please tell me which artist has a song as good as my personal favourite

 
Why do yall keep saying he wont release an album?
Bout 2 weeks ago on twitter when he dropped "disgusting", he said the album was 100% complete, for a summer release.
 
his stubborness to highlight his own production will be his demise.

he's simply not a talented producer who needs to concentrate on being an artist

i'd hate to see his career fail due to poor judgement.
 
He reminds me of Rakim... kind of.

A real emcee... but reluctant to claim his spot. The people don't give you your just due until you're gone. You have to toot your own horn when you're on.

I do think that Jay Z is out of touch... and has been since his second album. No flames please, have a good weekend.

Again... J Cole is dope but so is everyone else making HipHop music....

edit: you know who else is dope; Charles Hamilton. Dude is so sick. He is weird and puts off a weird image, but dude goes in.

It won't be commercially successful but ... that's what Hip Hop is.

You don't have to like it. Hip Hop was never commercially successful... rap was / is.
