is eminem the best at putting syllables together

AZ and Kool G. Rap>Em
Hell, even RA the Rugged Man is better than Em.
....even though most of you stans won't agree.

Although i could make an argument for him being one of the best... Your thread is dumb. Nas was never a lyrical rapper, his forte was story telling...

Saying AZ is better is a complete joke. Tell me where he out does any of ems rhyme schemes or flows or anything for that matter. Kool G rap has some nice flows but rhyme schemes nah. R.A. is a above average overall but still no match.

You idiot, lyrical in the sense of tecnical ability. Do you really think his simplicity of flow or rhyme scheme holds up to more modern rappers like eminem??

Eminem

Read and learn, the same rhyme scheme throughout the whole track with other rhymes wedged in then check out the way he bends words. I'm telling Nas was basic compared to this.

For the record AZ is no way near as skilled as the other rappers you mentioned.

Could go on with a better argument but i've been awake for over 24 hours so i'm feeling a little head fuzz.

Eminem is mos def one of the greatest technical rhymers out there. He has incredible ability to manipulate words, but I would say Pharoah Monche is nicer. Listen to the 1st Rapper's(Pharoah Monche) second verse. I don't think I've heard anything like it.
Song is called Prisoners of war. I would also put Ras Kass above Em and possibly Kane, but that's it. Very few as I said before.

lyrics for the verse here(copied from Rap Genius):
Wake uAnnotatep to the mathematics of an erratic rap
Rejuvenator of rhyme, that sort of come automatic
Poetical medical medicine for the cerebellum
I divert em and flirt em insert em then I repel em
A breakdown, poetical shakedown
Fifty-two pick-up a stick-up so get on the floor facedown
The ammo to keep the people steppin
Breakin open the vault because I'm like a verbal assault weapon
I'm mathematical, acrobatical
Attack the wack take rap to the maximum
You're strung out you're hung out when you heard the style
That I brung out of faint air must come out my mouth
Where I stick my tongue out in the at-mos-phere
Take a good look at what's happening here
On the microphone, I'm RAPPIN
Pickin-em-stickin-em up, breakin-em-shakin-em up, and bashin
The lyric dictator, the aviator of antonym
All beware to prepare for the guillotine
Rhymes go express, expert, extreme
Be up to par with wisdom and intellect
Detatching one's head directly from one's neck
Still I've been illing and drilling your brain
Like a villain I came in the darkness to spark the literature for sure
When I rhyme for the prisoners of war

O and Nas is in my opinion top two MC's to do it. His rhyme schemes and voice lend themselves more to story-telling as someone said earlier, but he can switch it up like few can:
