I was going to build a new desktop studio PC.. with sandybridge and i7, 8 to 12 gigs of RAM, two
2terab. hard drives,..was going to be mostly to make beats on.. then later for recording,mixing mostly...
but the laptop I have now is fine for making beats....but it's my wife laptop.. so I'm thinking about getting another laptop...something like this to do mostly business stuff along with making some beats
choosing a laptop for now.. so I can be mobile...just grab a i3,4gigRAM,320gig hard drive around $450

I don't want to build another studio PC for at least three years so I ..figuring if I wait for the Ivy Bridge and thunderbolt tech.. to take hold next summer.... and build a beast...
what are you thoughts on the new techn. ... I can't wait to see how thunderbolt changes the audio/video production....
