I want to know am I too old to START rapping

Im 22 and want to have a legit hustle on the side and I was thinking about rapping as a possibility I just want to hear some feedback. If I do decide to rap what advice could you guys on writing meaning how should go about getting good at writing rhymes
 
Slug from Atmosphere is almost 40, Jay z is 40. I think u have plenty of time. Music is not about age, just be real to yourself and talk about what you know
 
KRS Ones like 60, he started when he was 20 odd I think...
 
If anything you have more experience in life and have witnessed more stuff to talk about.
 
if your guna rap for a hustle then dont rap about wack stuff thats all i have to say
 
Jay-z didnt drop his first album until he was 26.... Not to say he had not been rapping for a long time, but maybe if you get really good at it then you can be successful. See the thing is, younger people are marketable, that is why so many new rappers come out left and right and are very young. But that does not mean they are good. Just give it a shot. YOu never know...Just make sure you got skills and dont put all your eggs in one basket.....Being a broke rapper is not cool.

jay z didnt drop his first album until he was 26...... not to say he sucks but he does
 
i dont think you too old to start rappiung,with a little dedication and hard work you will defnetly get ther
