I cant believe you cant do what he does on an 8 bit pixel if that makes any sense. He doesn't make everything in FL he uses FL as his sequencer what vsts he uses if for you to lick the lolip and see if theres chocolate at the end lmaooooooo no homo .

He uses stock FL sounds. He also uses the powerful M.E VST. There is no crack for it. And it cost money every time you use it.

Try this. Take any stock sound in FL and click a dot at 1/64 randomly.....just go ziiip with the mouse for 4 bars. Add some phaser. Chop it up. Use what you like from the chops. Instant sound effects for your beat. Add some stock strings and stock drums. Now.....the only main ingredient is the M.E VST. You tell the M.E VST "I need my strings more dramatic" and it does that! You tell it "make my 808 sound like the song I did for whoever".......and it does it for you!! Wow man, I wish I had of saved all my checks just to use that VST for a year. I would be straight!

I figured he used FL9 Producer Edition XL and Beetmaker V 4.0.5.1 vsti...

^^^^He used to. Now he uses a custom made voice activated version. He don't have to use his hands no more. He say "Hard N Da Paint Kick.................................BMF hat...........................MC Hammer snare....................String number 32...............Perc 30............arrangement 4......................save..................new session...." and he is done. 10 seconds or less. 2,000 beats a week.

actually, real talk now he uses the maschine and pro tools.

And im not being sarcastic, but I should have been.

To the original poster: mixing, he is using fl studio stock sounds but they are getting processed through some high quality gear that people on forums for software tell you that you don't need.

and btw i wasn't saying that lex is siting there setting calibrations for vintage eqs or anything, but lets be honest, we really need to stop tryna sell people on the bs that these guys working on major label records are taking them straight from their bed room and to the radio station. they may toss em to an engineer and be "done with the beat" but rest assured that engineer is doing some WORK to make it hold up to the other songs on the radio. just getting it to the proper loudness of competing radio records takes more work that simply turning up the mastering track on FL.
thats all i was saying.

He uses FL Studio as his sequencer...He used that same wack ass drum kit everybody and they momma downloaded a few years back and a few third-party synths.
