How to start scratching?

Hey,

I want to get into djing and especially scratching I'm wondering what is a good cheap controller to buy.

Atm I'm split between getting real equipment and getting this object: Mixfader (http://www.themixfader.com/).

Mixfader can be a good solution not to spend too much money and I start from scratch so...Do you have some advices?

What controllers did you start off with?

Man I'm curious about this as well. I have always wanted to scratch and incorporate that into my productions. Two turntables and a mixer, I know will be needed. I have one turntable, and a dj mixer, so I'll be waiting on a response here as well.
