Since I don't see anything about it here is how you set it up to work in FL Studio

1. Click Options > MIDI Settings

2. In Output, select the AKAI MPD 32 and click "send master sync" and send it to "port 1" (or any free midi port)

3. In Input, click "AKAI MPD 32" and click enable

That methods done now here's how to setup the hardware.

1. Press Global > and press the right arrow button to "MIDI CLK" and set to External.

Now, the MPD is in sync with FL Studios tempo but only after you close and open FL Studio again for some reason.

2. Press play on the MPD transporter and press "EDIT"

3. Click the knob and select "MMC"

and you're done. If you want to take off the swing, press "NOTE REPEAT" on the MPD, and go to "Gate Swing" and drop it to 50.

For some reason my MPD freezes FL Studio, but I don't think I'm the only one. So if you're stuck at the FL Studio logo, unplug the midi and repeat the steps "Setup Hardware" since it doesn't save for me.
