how to mix an fpc

So in fl studios i can assign a mixer track to an fpc, but what if I want to mix individual notes on the fpc separately? Like I don't wanna use one equalizer to do every sound on there.
 
well I guess I could record each pad separately on a different track in the step sequencer, but its more fun to play the kick snare and hat at the same time on my fpc
 
On the right, There is a box saying 'output', change the number of that box to the number of the insert in the mixer that you want that chop to go to. Repeat for each pad.
