How do you record/write the THOR step sequencer into the main sequencer?

I need help with recording the Thor's step sequencer into the main sequencer. I thought it would be just like the Redrum where you can copy pattern to track, but I haven't been able to do it with the Thor's sequencer. If you go to the edit menu you don't get the option to copy pattern to track. I don't know whats up with that because basically it is pointless to have the step sequencer if you can't record what you sequenced in Thor into the main sequencer. Because if its not written in the main sequencer then it won't record it onto a cd.

If anyone can help me out I would really apprecaite it.

that last part, is completely false information. anything in the step sequencer will still be exported along with the rest of the song and would be heard on a cd as anything else in the Reason session. i wouldn't call the Thor step sequencer pointless just because you can't copy the patterns to a track like you can in the Redrum, but I will admit that I was a bit peeved when I didn't see a way to 'copy pattern to track' like you can in Redrum. i'm re-readin up on Thor just to be sure I didn't overlook something.

create mixer first. then open other devices in order to record.
 
OK so if I want the pattern i made in the Thor step sequencer only in certain parts of a song. How will I do that when I can't write the pattern onto the main sequencer. If I make a pattern I want to use the pattern in certain parts of the song, not on the whole song. So how would reason know where I want the pattern I created. If it exports it then the pattern would just play throughout my whole song. And I'm not trying to have a who knows more than who in reason I would just like some honest help with this issue.

read up on automation. you can automate the on/off on the thor sequencer, this way you can turn it on and off when you want to play and when you want it to stop playing.

Yeah, I had this same issue. I started playing with Thor and really liked it, only to find out there wasn't any simple way to copy pattern to track.
 
You can't automate the "run" button for the step sequencer in Thor for some reason, but to get it to come in and out of my songs, I automate the Thor main volume from "0" (off) to whatever volume I want it playing (on) throughout the song. It's lame, but effective.
