HOW do you make/BUILD a CHEAP but NICE recording BOOTH??? HELPPPPPPP!!?!?

will you please stop talking about ghetto room treatments - those moving blankets will not fix the problems of a regular (domestic) room nor contribute to making it more like a custom designed room

+1

Plus, the thread title explains "cheap but nice" - I don't think I would consider some blankets hanging on a wall particularly inviting :/

If you can't do full on construction, just use some Gobo's around a singer. It won't isolate them, but you'll get a much better sounding recording.

I built a vocal booth with ventilation and it works great. Reasonable priced and easy to build. I ordered the plans from dawbox.com. I have been pretty happy with the sound quality. I also can no longer hear the residual noise from the highway in my recording.
