He has a foundation for vocals, but he needs serious coaching, in particular because of the pseudo-falsetto arpeggios he's trying to run...it sounds bad.
He also needs to couple himself with a decent producer for recording and instrumental selection. It all sounds bedroom terrible.
He can do it, but he needs some work and to invest in his production.
