Sup, I was wondering, how do u make that synth thing in only god can judge me by 2pac, that long synth thing i dont no what its called. It's also in some earlier snoop and dre songs, and that regulate by warren g

im not sure exactly what they used probably some sort of talk box or a vocoder, try a vocoder that should render similar effect/sound.

Is a voice effect or a horn type sound?

Are you referring to the sound in the chorus of "regulate".

If so it sounds like a horn, I dont know where it originates from though.

As a producer, when I hear a sound I like in another song, I try to think if I have something similar like it and try to tweak the sound I have.

I try not to make my sounds like ones already used, to me that is copying. I only try to make the intensity/vibe similar.
