How do I switch instruments in Reason 5 using my MPK49?

I just bought an MPK49 , using it with Reason 5, and I'd like to know exactly how to switch instruments. It seems that the mpk gives its attention to the last instrument created, and I can see that it's because the instrument's corresponding sequencer track is active.

I'm able to switch between instruments using my mouse and kb to manually select sequencer tracks but I'd like to know how to do it with the MPK.

I read the manual and attempted what I thought was instructions on how to do this but I think I'm misunderstanding something.

i believe the last 2 buttons do it (1/32 and 1/32T buttons)

i use to have the mpk49 but sold it. but now i want the mpk61.
