How do I record a [Run] type combinator patch in Reason 5?

What up?

So I have a [Run] type combinator patch i want to record into Reason 5 but when i hit record it doesnt record anything. The run is playing without me touching a key..what i do to play it is, i push the "Run pattern devices". I want to record the actually run when i put run pattern devices and not record any keys. I was thinking i could record it into a pattern lane but theres no option for that for the combinator patch. :banghead:

you gotta right click on each pattern device and "copy pattern to track". If using the matrix, you would also need to move the midi from the matrix lane to the lane of whatever module is receiving the midi notes.Turn off the patterns after you copy them to track.
