Im usin FL Studio 9. I turned my polyphony on the misc menu to 1 and i thought that would do it since thats why i do when i sample to keep my samples from over laping but I guess thats not the problem. Any help would be great, thank you.

That should work. Make sure you don't select the disable max poly when bouncing down though. You can also use the cut it's self button on the cut group.

Setting the poly to 1 doesnt always work for ALL samples sometimes you gotta do it by the 0by0 one too,You can try 2by2 etc.

U have to light up one of those little bloxes on the sound settings i think it says something about loop but i can't remember what it says

It can also be handled by dealing with the decay and release settings that you have set up. Shorten the decay and this will help cut down on over lap.

the way I do it is ..Chanel settings>Misc>then where it says CUT and CUT BY put 1 on each boxes

Yes it does. By the very definition of poly it does. If it doesn't you don't have the bounce options set correctly.

just right click the channel and check cut itself is on, that should do the trick

Depends on how you are writing the track as well.

It might work better to write each pitched 808 on an instrument of its on. Then you can adjust decay times individually. Some hits need to be short while others need to be long.

Easiest way though is to use a sampler with only one 808 sample that is spread accross all the keys. That way all you need to do is turn polyphony down to 1 and the 808 kicks won't overlap.
