I know that this isn't a hip hop song, but I'm pretty sure it's related so here it goes.

There's a horn in Shakira "Hip's Don't Lie", and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what song it's sampled from. Something tells me it's a mid-early 90's hip hop song. But it could be anything, I'm sure someone's bound to recognize it.

What i can't believe is that people are thinking this is a good song...i'd listen to "grillz" over this crap. What's up with when she's singing and it goes all nasal all of a sudden? it sounds a mess for real.
 
That Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz's "Deja Vu" isnt the original sample.

It's actually the intro to an old salsa song. Every Puerto Rican born after 1975 grew up knowing that intro. In fact, when Deja Vu came out everyone thought it was the Salsa song coming on, even black folks.

I don't know the exact name of the original song, or the original singer and badn, but I DO know that it is NOT originally from "Deja Vu"
