Hip Hop Synths from specific songs

Hey all, this is my first thread!

I'm using LogicX for beat production, and I want to remake classic hip hop tracks in order to learn.

1. Can anyone recommend a way to do it from your own experience?
2. Which synth PlugIns should I download?

To be specific, I'm looking for classic G Funk synths (From Dr. Dre's The Chronic album - Dre Day, or any other songs).
