In all honesty this post is given simply because the forums message to new users requested the user to do so. I suppose I could play along...
My background is as a musician & pro live engineer with a bit of (self-taught) studio time; I have extensive computer background, and am neophyte to electronics, but develop a quick understanding of concepts across a wide spectrum, spanning the sciences.
I have recorded * produced a handful of projects over the years, with a single making it to local radio.
My purpose here is to obtain an outlet for thoughts related to music & recording techniques and equipment; to give to the community what I've accumulated while having the access to research and obtain information from the more experienced. I believe information should be freely given to all who asks, breaking the barriers that would otherwise oppress.
