should i download the demo of reason to see if i like it or should i just buy it cause its going to take to long to learn how to use it? i just need my computer to make songs with it? can i make hard house songs and stuff like that with it if anyone knows please tell me thanks.
 
im sure mano will tell you this-Yes you should(that;s what he tells everyone)..yeah im pretty sure you can makehard house songs...besides what have you got to lose?
 
well im just waiting to see what he says. hes the man when it comes to reason, at least thats the impression that i get. i just dont want to download the demo if im not going to know how to use it. plus its probably limited(the demo) but i hear its the best software to use. and if i can make any kind of music im already sold!

With Reason you can make any kind of music you want =) yes.

The demo is not so fun, it will close after 20 min. and you can't save or copy anything. Maybe there are more equipment to choose from in full version also, anybody knows??

hey robban thanks for telling me that. i still wonder how much its going to cost. is it hard to use? and so it closes after 20 min huh. that sucks. well ill look into it.
 
the demo is exactly like the full, but here are the limitations:

. closes after 20 minutes
. you can't save your project file
. you can't export as audio
. you don't get the +500 patches and sounds the full version has (very good, including grand pianos, pads, etc..)


BUT go get the demo, it is a very good program, and YES you can compose anything, but hey that's up to you really, to your skills and determination etc..

price wise, let me think... around US$ 300 I think, for the full bo (2 CD set including all the instruments and such)
 
hey mano thanks alot. ill download it. hey how long do you think it will take to learn to make some pretty good stuff? not anything extravagant just some hard house beats. ? just curious. and i checked and it is 300 dollars.

It will take you between 2 hours and 3,258.9 hours, approximately, per year.
 
oh that depends to you... it's worth buying the full box really its a great program. BUT you will need ot practice, this is MUSIC COMPOSING, it's not all technical... its from your heart.

hey mano i probably need a midi keyboard to make reason easier right? just wondering wether i need to go buy both?
 
that would change your life yes. get a SIMPLE midi keyboard... ask for a keyboard which only transmits on channel 1.. it's enough really. around 100 US$.

you can use the keyboard in cubase or cakewalk later if you trey composing outside of Reason.
