i got my hands on a herculese dj control mp3 for 5 bucks (i think the 1st they made) .
I must say this thing is a toy and has no real use anywhere in the pro-audio world but the midi is wonderful so ive made a map for cubase (nuendo also) which covers all the basic transport and mixer needs of tracking,leveling and eq-ing.
if anyone is interested then i will send the .xml per mail though i must say it is setup for my own mobile use and might need to be tweaked for personal preference but the basics are there
Knowledgeg of the steinberg "generic midi remote" is needed since i wont take the time to explain anything to anyone but if you know the
"generic midi remote" basics then its a breeze.
i use it as a mobile since im a mackie user at home and the studio where i finalize has a euphonix which hates me.
