you might want to try a sample guitar library and a vst sampler. I've heard good things about yellowtools pure guitars and the demos are pretty impressive. Also RealGuitar is supposed to be good.
For now I use plugsound vol.2 fretted for my guitar sounds. Its not bad but I like running the guitars through a vst effect box called amplitube for better tweaking.

Nice are any of the plugsound products good. Thanks for the info on Yellow Tools. I just bought kontakt so it woudl work if I looked into it.

Plugsound is pretty nice, It always gave me bad latency in FL for some reason though. It's probably just my crappy soundcard.

Yeah I have Plugsound also. The latency is really bad on my system too. A good soundcard is necessary if you want to use any of the Plugsound modules.
