my name is Chezi i'm 29, a bass player in my essence and
i decided to start creating my own stuff (electronic, hip-hop music).
I have a lot of knowledge in music theory, and in sound in general
my only problem is that i really dont know where to start, in terms of harware and stuff like that.
what do i need to buy?, a computer, sound-card, a control keyboard... what is a plugin? what is a VST?
I'm a bit lost about the basics of starting to create electronic music in the computer and i'll love some tips to begin with

i know this is general and maybee ghard to answer in a forum message, but i'm looking for places to start. my problem is not the software, i'm lokced on Cubase and Abelton Live (i like Cubase more)....
