Is there any way I can record thoroughly using SliceX?

Usually I record using "Audio, in the playlist" but everytime I set up the metronome, let alone any instrument, it picks that up as well. Recording with Edision seems to difficult so I dont even want to get into that.

lol its not called fruity loops. its fl studio now.

steps to record
1. f10, audio, asio4all v2
2. open mixer. above the mixer slots is a drop down screen. make sure it says none.
3. the drop down screen under the slots should display your mic.
4. select the mic icon located at the top of the display.
5. turn off the record button, select a free mixer track, hit the record button again.
6. happy recording.

that's how i do it in fl studio 10 anyway.
