I really like this beat, it has a nice calming quality to it. Only thing I'd suggest would be to add some sort of variation to the melody, but other than that i enjoyed listening to it, so good work on this

Good stuff! I really like the sample you used... But Like nehemeizcool said, there could definitely be some variation in the melody... But that shouldn't be too big of a deal especially if you have someone planning to rap over it.
Other than that, it's very nicely put together. Good job!
